Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PrimeLens Nepal. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. Effective: June 1, 2025.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using primelensnepal.com (“the Website”) or placing an order with PrimeLens Nepal (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“the Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Shipping & Returns Policy. If you do not agree to any of these terms, you must not use our Website or services.

2. Products & Medical Responsibility

Contact lenses are regulated medical devices in Nepal. By purchasing from PrimeLens Nepal, you confirm the following:

  • You have a current, valid contact lens prescription issued by a licensed eye care professional.
  • The parameters (power, base curve, diameter) you enter during checkout match your prescription.
  • You understand the proper care, handling, and wearing schedule of the lenses you are purchasing.
  • You are purchasing lenses for your own personal use (or for an individual whose prescription you hold with their consent).

PrimeLens Nepal is a retail seller, not a medical provider. We do not verify prescriptions at the point of order. You assume full responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of your order parameters. PrimeLens Nepal shall not be liable for any eye injury, discomfort, or health consequences arising from incorrectly ordered products or improper lens use.

3. Orders & Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price at the time of order confirmation is the price you will be charged.
  • PrimeLens Nepal reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a pricing error, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or inability to verify payment. You will be notified and a full refund will be issued.
  • Promotional discounts and offers are valid only for the stated duration and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

4. Payment

We accept payments via eSewa, Khalti, bank transfer, and Cash on Delivery (COD) where applicable. By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. PrimeLens Nepal does not store full payment card details; all payment processing is handled by third-party gateways subject to their own terms and security standards.

5. Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. PrimeLens Nepal is not liable for delays caused by courier partners, acts of nature, public disruptions, or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery confirmation. For undelivered parcels, please report within 7 days of the expected delivery date.

6. Returns & Refunds

Our full Return & Refund Policy is detailed on the Shipping & Returns page and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

  • Returns are accepted only for wrong or expired products delivered, within 7 days, in sealed/unopened condition.
  • Opened lenses, trial lenses, and solutions are non-returnable under any circumstance.
  • Customer-error orders attract a cancellation/return shipping fee of NPR 150.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PrimeLens Nepal’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Website or purchase of products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

PrimeLens Nepal shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
  • Medical or health consequences resulting from the use or misuse of contact lenses.
  • Losses arising from inaccurate prescription parameters entered by the customer.
  • Delays or failures caused by third-party courier services.
  • Service interruptions due to technical issues, maintenance, or force majeure.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and product descriptions — is the property of PrimeLens Nepal or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Website without our express written permission.

9. Prohibited Conduct

When using our Website, you must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information during registration or checkout.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
  • Use the Website for any unlawful purpose.
  • Resell or distribute products purchased from PrimeLens Nepal without authorisation.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nepal.

PrimeLens Nepal reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
